Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2022, Jan. 19 at 7PM
Wednesday, January 19, 2022
Mother Carey will be one of the participants in the service. All are invited to the 2022 Observance of the International Week of Prayer for Christian Unity: Let us Gather in Peace, for Healing Invite your Christian friends, family and neighbors and join Bishop Burbidge on Wednesday, January 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Saint Bernadette Parish in Springfield as we gather with brothers and sisters united by baptism for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, whose theme this year is “We saw the star in the East and have come to worship him” (Mt. 2:2). We invite congregations and clergy from all Christian churches, as we focus our prayer to God for justice, peace, and the healing of divisions - physical, emotional, social and spiritual - especially as we continue to navigate a pandemic. Saint Bernadette Church is located at 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd, Springfield VA 22152. Following CDC guidelines, all are encouraged to wear a mask in public indoor settings. This event is sponsored by the Diocesan Office for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs.
